Docks · Bulkheads · Boat lifts
A waterfront made for the way you use it.
Dock and bulkhead work for Barnegat Bay homes. We read the water, the site, and the permit path before we build.
Serving Forked River, Waretown, Barnegat, Lanoka Harbor, Beachwood, Toms River, Bayville, Manahawkin.
A shoreline has its own conditions
Salt air, changing water, and a Nor'easter all find the weak point. We plan the whole waterfront around what is there.
From Forked River lagoons to open bay edges, we assess the wall, dock, pilings, and access together. You get a written scope that explains materials, approvals, and the sequence on site.
What we build and repair
Every part of the water's edge.
Choose the work you need. Each project starts with the conditions at your property.

Material decisions
Choose for the water, not the catalog.
No wall or walking surface suits every lagoon. Exposure, soil, existing construction, and routine care change the right choice.
- Vinyl bulkheads resist rot; caps, anchors, and drainage still need attention.
- Timber brings a warm edge and can suit selective repairs, with regular inspection in brackish water.
- Composite decking reduces surface upkeep; framing and fasteners remain part of the system.
- We compare the complete scope, including access and permits, before recommending a material.

What waterfront owners noticed.
Illustrative quotes shown until permissioned review excerpts are selected.
“The bulkhead replacement stayed on schedule and was finished before Memorial Day, just as the crew outlined.”
“Our lift was installed and dialed in, and the walkthrough was patient and easy to follow.”
“They rebuilt the dock after a nor'easter and made the insurance paperwork much easier to organize.”

Is vinyl or timber better for a bulkhead?
Vinyl resists rot and needs less routine upkeep. Timber can suit certain repairs, budgets, and site conditions. We review the existing wall, soil, exposure, and permit path before recommending either.
Who pulls the permits?
We coordinate the required permit package and keep you informed as municipal and waterfront approvals move forward. Timing varies with scope and reviewing agencies.
How is a boat lift sized?
We use the boat's loaded weight, beam, hull shape, slip width, piling layout, water depth, and local conditions to select the lift and bunk arrangement.
How long does a new dock take?
Construction time depends on design, access, materials, weather, and permit approvals. We provide a project sequence after the site assessment and permitting review.
How should I prepare for storm season?
Check lift cables, controls, bunks, loose dock boards, cleats, ladders, and visible piling movement. Follow the boat and lift manufacturer's storm guidance and never remain on the waterfront in unsafe conditions.
How long do pilings last in brackish water?
Service life varies with species, treatment, installation, exposure, marine organisms, and the wet and dry cycle. Regular inspection helps identify section loss or movement before support is compromised.
